Through the lives of several young adults and the personal journey of the filmmaker as a participant, the film examines generational attitudes shaped by digital evolution and social changes.

This film talks about the conflicting nature of a human when it comes to the topic of beauty and appearance in the setting of a hair salon. Throughout the film, you have a chance to get to know Cesar, a hairstylist from contrasting perspectives—portraying a threshold between his professional life and overcoming the creative struggles of constantly trying to be the best at what he does. Guided through the conversations with the different customers we get to question and have a better understanding of the term beauty and how it is represented and confronted in the women's hair salon.

This short film shows my journey of searching for a sense of belonging within myself and others. It shows how my grandfather’s diary has inspired me to look deeper into this topic from different angles and captures five other inspiring stories about the sense of belonging. With this film I want to motivate that the sense of belonging is not only a feeling you sense when you are at home but also it is connected to the way we belong to ourselves. I want to emphasize that we are much more connected than we are apart and show how my family and different generations have shaped the way I sense the feeling of belonging.
